"Bijoux on the Beach" (sold)

Another in the Cordova Bay Beach paintings - a place I walk frequently with my dog. I find working on patterns and colour to be quite meditative, and that is how it felt working on the details in the rocks and beach. The sunrise and sunset colours can seem unreal - they are so vibrant. This painting is right in my sweet spot - recognizable, but nudging towards abstraction.
